And then we also have this thread, where one not very experience user had the same suggestion (see the 3rd post from above) ... And i still think, that the ext's. FAQs should come first or be separated and more prominent (it took a while to notice the hover thing).

The context delete button is only removing it from the toolbar. What if I want to remove the button completely so that it doesn't show up on the (customize toolbar dialog) ?

try reading this in the faq... faq.php?mode=exten#f26

the edit button will let you edit the button and remove all the code, then do a restart and try deleting again. If that doesn't work you may have a corrupt profile.

Thank you it worked, but this would be a good feature to add to some future extension release since the complication in removing the button would discourage people from trying new ones.

well, typically there is no confusion in deleting a button. To delete a button you simply Shift+Right Click -> Delete, Done. However, like many things in life there sometimes arises an exception. In this case it was because of the code that resided in the button itself. Unfortunately, there is not a completely foolproof way to plan for every instance of javascript that an author might put in the button. Like I said, the task of deleting most of your buttons should be obtainable by simply clicking delete, but there may be exceptions.

Whether it would be a worthy addition, I am really not sure if it is possible. I will however mention it to SCClockDr when he comes back from his trip (September-ish). Perhaps he might have ideas I am not thinking of.
