Hi all,

I've been away a long while and I'm completely lost.

I think you missed a couple or three FAQ topics.

Such as...

Where can I find a list of buttons to download?

How do I upload my own buttons?

WHERE do I upload my own buttons.

I'm gradually finding the answers to these (there's a LOT to take in) so quicky entries in the FAQ would really help. He sez.

Regards and stuff,
Richard.

Squeeky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 :yay:

Good to see you! I am currently working on fixing up a lot of stuff on the site since we moved to phpbb3. If you can keep track of the questions you had and the answers you find then I will certainly add them to the faq. Thanks.

Hiya !!! :D

Long time no see, and yes, I know it's MY fault :)

I know my way round forums and so on, and you know I like and use this extension ;) but sheesh! I had trouble tracking down what I needed.

But to stay on topic - yes I'll keep track of this thread, and perhaps other members, especially ones new to buttons can add things that they looked for but couldn't find easily.

Should give you a good foundation for a beginner's guide.

After all - the options for customising your system and set-up with this extension are pretty wide ranging and very useful. Awesome, in fact :)

Anyway you, enough of this chatter - go and answer my question on my makeabookmarkbutton question! harumph! :)
Regards and stuff,
Richard.

Hiya! :)

Yeah, life and stuff caught up with me. I'm much better now and am slowly getting back into things :)

There are a lot of golden oldies on the old forum (often hard to find) but I've got quite a few stashed on my crib sheet (my buttons page) which ain't organised at all but has a set of handy ones that I use(d) on and off.

Some of them will work straight out of the box, others may need updating.

I didn't want to bombard the Buttons Database with a whole bunch of them all at once, but if the current mods are happy with the ones I'm picking then I'll keep going as time permits.

Note to self: Go back and edit the first post to list the answers wot I found :)
Regards and stuff,
Richard.

.
This very much a Work In Progress, so please bear with me.

Off to look at smarty pants' code for the original FAQ's...

First to thin it down a bit and check the iframe and existing links...

Coo! Doncha just love it when something works first time out of the box? :D

More work later - I need a break.
