I recently upgraded Firefox to the latest v3 RC2, in XP Pro SP2.
In addons.mozilla.org it seems Custom Buttons2 is not available for this version of Firefox, so I installed Custom Buttons 0.0.3.2

The buttons I have tried so far (Zap Style 1 and Sidebar) work OK, but Make A Bookmark Button doesn't work. When I first install it, a very tall Java error window opens, which has no scroll bar so I can't read the bottom of it. The new button is available in the Customize dialog and I dragged it onto a toolbar, but when I click it to make a new bookmark button, it doesn't work.

This button even breaks FF's Customize toolbar dialog (it shows that huge java error dialog) until I delete the Make A Bookmark Button button.

This used to be my favorite custom button.
Do you plan to make it compatible with FF3 and CB 0.0.3.2 ?
Or should I wait until CB2 is updated for FF3 ?

Thank you

This button will not work in 0.0.3.2. The 0.0.3.2 extension is not the same as Custom Buttons² so conflicts can arise if installing buttons meant for Custom Buttons² in 0.0.3.2 and vice versa. If you would like to use this button you must uninstall the 0.0.3.2 version completely making sure to do a complete restart and reinstall Custom Buttons².

It is suggested that you make backups in case something were to go wrong in the process.

I am sorry our version was not available to you when you upgraded to Firefox 3. However, it is completely 3.0 compatible (minus the version number), I uploaded a new version to addons a few moments ago. I have also posted the version in the beta forum for users to install if they are having trouble getting our new version before the approval process on addons is complete.

You may get it here:

Thanks Nicholas

Just glad to hear we were able to get it straightened out.

Let me know what you think of this new version of the button.

Hi I love this button! I just upgraded to FF3 and am using the latest version of CB2 but for some reason whenever I try to edit the favicon of a bookmark button, the button becomes grayed out and it no longer works. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

Thanks,
Angel

are there any quotation marks in your buttons name/label? The label is inside of the initialization tab.

No There are no Quotes in the label. Actually this seems to occur with any bookmark buttons anytime I attempt to edit the button and click apply it becomes disabled.
