Make Button Requests & Get Coding Assistance with Buttons You Are Working On

I miss the "Go" tab (Alt-G) in the uppermost bar in NS 7.2 which listed the past dozen or so pages visited in a window/tab. The "back/forward one page" mouse-over dropdown does this in Firefox, but doesn't have a keyboard shortcut (Alt-G is what I would like). I like to use shortcut keys whenever possible and that Alt-G was one of my most used keys. "History" [either as a sidebar (ctrl-h) or as a tab (Alt-S)] are just not the same thing: they interleaf the histories of whatever tabs are open.

I have downloaded "keyconfig" and looked into "CustomButtons" but I have very limited experience in programming experience, and NO knowledge of Firefox's scripting language or file system.

Could someone tell me whether there already is an addon/extension/button that provides this, or help me in creating in either a custombutton or a shortcut key for the "back/forward one page" mouse-over dropdown (list the past dozen or so pages visited in a window/tab).

Peter
PS ... A newcomer, I mistakenly intruded into someone else's chatroom  I think I've done it right now.

I would love to see this too. I have been looking for it now for several hours.

I found something that worked for me. I used the NoUn extension to split the three buttons up, removed the back and forward that I did not want, and used the down arrow button to show my history.
