Problem with 3.1.0 and Menu Editor

Since i don't know what exactly causes the issue, i'll describe it.
I use Menu Editor and trimmed my menubar menus to only 2 items, File and Help. I also use the Compact menu button (sorry, can't link to it as it takes forever to navigate anywhere ... maybe the page will load tomorrow! 
So, when i click on that button, i see 2 menu items, File and Help.
Now, i've installed 3.1.0 and i see all of the (default) menubar menuitems.
I reinstalled 3.0.1 - see only my chosen 2.
I reinstalled 3.1.0 again - and again i see all of the menubar menu items.
I'd say, the 3.1.0 version breaks Menu Editor.
There no errors in console.
Since the site is unusable (to me) and i can't come here often, i'd appreciate if George or nicholas would respond in the MoZine thread, that is if you need more info, of course 'cause i went back to 3.0.1 for the time being. Just thought i'd let you know about the problem.
PS. Here, the Compact Menu button ( i use the one w/out toggle).

Have to bump!
I went back to 3.0.1 but today an update came and i decided to try again - same thing. As soon as i install 3.1.00, the Compact Menu button, or Menu Editor ext., or both stop working. I don't know which one.
Will be happy to help troubleshooting but in the meanwhile i'm going back to 3.0.1 which i have no problems with.

Please look into this issue.
I'm using Fx 3.6b1 and have to bump the ext. for it. However, Update notifier is bugging me with the 3.1.0 update which i don't want to use until this issue is resolved.

Bumping again! Is anybody alive here?
I'm pretty sure the conflict is with the Menu Editor ext. I'm back to 3.0.1.
As soon as i install 3.1.0, all menus show instead of only marked ones, as it works prior to 3.1.0.

Hey, Makondo.
I couldn't confirm the bug using the current version of Firefox.
Try this:
* check visible all menu items in Menu Editor
Test button
* delete Custom Menu button
* install
* restart browser
The only change to the original button was an if statement:

Hi, morat! Thanks but the button didn't work for me. I had no problems with the original until i installed Fx 3.6b* and CB² 3.1.0.
